Faith and Religion
At the heart of every religion there are wonderful stories. There are also a great deal of stories with themes related to spirituality and spiritual growth that are not connected to a particular religion.
This SIG welcomes, and seeks to support, connect and celebrate, anyone interested in faith, religion or spirituality in storytelling.
The group meets regularly for stories, discussion and talks. Stories and articles are shared on email and a document of source material useful for sacred storytelling is being constantly updated.
We have a link with St Ethelburgas centre for Reconciliation and Peace on Bishopsgate in the city of London, who have a beautiful Bedouin style tent perfect for storytelling. St Ethelburgas continue to support and promote sacred storytelling and have generously provided a home for our group.
