She specialises in Story Cabaret for corporate events, after dinner, weddings/anniversaries and studio theatre performances. Glamorously presented in bohemian chic, she’s been acclaimed from Cheltenham Literature Festival to conferences of 800.

Available throughout the UK and worldwide, Chloë delivers a high energy blend of Stand-Up and Storytelling inspired by traditional tales from many cultures. For overseas audiences key phrases can be given in French or German.

Repertoire is rooted in the great British story heritage and features rarely heard tales of marsh, moor, island, highland, forest and standing stones. Often with a contemporary twist.

Her worldwide range of tales draws on nearly 30 years of work and travel. Thrill to steamy Caribbean passion, sizzling Thai romance, powerful African magic. She’ll send shivers down your spine with just a purr of her voice…

Chloë’s lively physicality is a hit with Schools and Family venues. With singing bowl and silver drum, plus colourful costumes, she captivates Primary school children. Even supercool Sixth Formers warm to her style. Clients include the award winning Roald Dahl Museum & Story Centre, the Lightbox Gallery & Museum at Woking, plus state and independent schools, and National Trust properties.

Chloë trained originally at London’s Central School of Speech & Drama.  Before starting Midnight Storytellers in 1999 she worked as a freelance copywriter and editor, also enjoying 9 years training office staff throughout the UK and beyond. She studied storytelling with Alexander Mackenzie, Hazel Bradley and Michael Harvey, Emerson College, Hugh Lupton and Eric Maddern, and Shonaleigh.  She belongs to the new generation of storytellers who love and respect the world heritage of traditional story, and who are also making space for fresh creativity - the stories for our future.  Her continuing mission is “To boldly take storytelling where it’s never gone before.”
