Christine has been telling stories since her schooldays, and professionally for over twenty years, performing and giving workshops for adults and children. She sometimes works with musicians to create a performance piece with words and music. She can also combine storytelling with her skills as a visual artist, in residencies.

Her repertoire of stories, riddles and rhymes has been collected over many years and includes Celtic tales from Wales, her home, from Ireland where her grandmother lived as a child, from eastern Europe where her ancestors came from.

In schools, playgroups, nurseries and kindergarten she shares stories with young people of all ages and abilities. Her aim is to have fun whilst extending vocabulary, developing listening and speaking skills, informing creative writing and enhancing many aspects of the curriculum.

In stately homes and museums she creates stories which relate to their setting. In parks and woodlands she tells tales which have an empathy with her surroundings.

In libraries Christine tells to adults, children and families, she can tailor the session to celebrations and seasons.

Christine can be found at Glastonbury Festival every year in the Kids field and in the Earth Lodge in the Green Futures Field, where she organises a daily programme of storytelling.
