Feast of Fools

April 1st saw us opening "Storytelling at the Feast of Fools" with a wonderful night including resident tellers Sue Martin and Richard York, and starring guests  Red Phoenix and Jo Blake Cave, with a near capacity and very happy audience.

May saw our first "open mic" Night... with the special feature that we don't use any mics! ...  and all reckoned it was another great night.

Really looking forward to our June 3rd  third meeting, when the superb Tim Ralphs brings us "ReBranding Beelzebub", (about which more to follow).

We meet in the NN cafe, 9 Guildhall Rd Nortthampton, NN1 1DP. It's upstairs, just a few doors up from the original entrance to our lovely 19th C Royal Theatre.

We're there on the first Wednesday of each month, except August, doors open at 7.00 for 7.30. There are good refreshments, excellent CAKE, ale, coffee, tea, herb tea...

(Yes, we may be new to running a storytelling club, but we do know the value of good cake! Tamsyn at the NN bakes really great ones.)

Parking is easy in nearby streets or the multi-story car park, at only £1 in the evenings.

We're alternating guest nights, to bring excellent professional tellers to our town, with floor spot/ "open mic" nights, month by month.

We're on Facebook, at

Tickets can be bought on the door, or through,

And we're very friendly and welcoming to both listeners and tellers!
