She's appeared at an extraordinary mix of events and venues, from Cheltenham Literature Festival to cruise ships. She adapts happily to any size of audience, from dinner parties to village halls, from classroom to festival marquee, from conference stage to campfire to theatre or even (once!) an arena of thousands.

Based in Gloucestershire. Available throughout the UK and overseas.
Chloë's repertoire is rooted in traditional story, such as Lost Legends of Britain and Cotswold Tales plus Festive Fables for winter audiences. Tales of Lust & Chocolate reveal dark desires and sizzling romance from around the world – this is the show that pulls an audience for venues / events new to storytelling.
But Chloë's guilty secret is a passion for new stories. It's important to conserve story heritage; this is cultural identity, this is valuable teaching about how to survive being human. And then what? Where are the tales for our time? In sets such as Scheherazade's Shed and Once Upon A Future, audiences experience new twists to ancient themes, plus magical realism, true life tales and UFOs.
Here's a taste of Chloë's work:
- The Mistletoe Bride: audio: adapted from a traditional narrative and recorded for the Tenbury Wells part of Worcestershire Libraries' Lending an Ear audio art archive.
- Amateratsu: video: punk rock flavoured version of a Japanese legend, devised for Bridgwater Arts Centre 70th anniversary story promenade show (filmed at dress rehearsal)
- Showcase Chloë: video: story clips and audience responses – many of them had never experienced live storytelling before.
